ABOUT ME

Hi, I'm Trina Jo

WHERE I COME FROM

I grew up on a cattle ranch six miles west of Dupuyer, Montana. My siblings and I spent our time riding horses, raising 4-H steers, and helping our dad with the haying and cow work. We learned the value of hard work and family, and we have all carried those values into our adult lives.

After high school, I moved to Casper, Wyoming, where I earned an Associate of Science Degree in Ag Business.

By some stroke of luck or divine intervention, I grew up and married a cattle rancher, which meant I could continue doing what I love every day, and raise my family the same way I was raised.

ADVOCATING FOR AG

As a livestock producer, I have always advocated for my way of life, but I have taken my efforts to the next level in recent years, becoming active in many organizations including Montana CattleWomen, Montana Stockgrower's Association, United States Cattlemen's Association, American National CattleWomen, Marias River Livestock Association, and Blackfeet Nation Stock Growers Association.

I have held offices on both the Montana CattleWomen board and the Marias Rive Livestock Association board.

I am also serving a term on the USDA APHIS Wildlife Services Citzen Advisory Council, and was chosen for Montana Governor Steve Bullock's Grizzly Bear Advisory Committee in Aug. 2019.
